Bill Hinrichs

Bill Hinrichs, 83, died May 20, 2006, in Tacoma, Wash.

He was born May 4, 1923, to the late Raymond and Bertha Hinrichs.

Bill was a divisional controller for St. Regis Paper Co., retiring in 1985.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and the stock market.

Bill also was preceded in death by siblings Robert Hinrichs, Ruth Robinson and Edith Randolf, all of Havre.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Penny" Hinrichs; children, Patti Lippold and her husband, Don, of Frisco, Texas, Gail Ryan and her husband, Alan, of Fircrest, Wash., Robert Hinrichs and his wife, Kim, of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Joanie Strandin and her husband, Ron, of Woodinville, Wash; a brother, Fritz Hinrichs of Havre; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel in Tacoma. The funeral mass was at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Tacoma. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery.

Family suggests memorials be made to American Heart Association.
