Shirley White

Shirley White, 72, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, in Libby.

He was born at Camden-on-Gauley, W.Va., on Oct. 10, 1933, to William E. and Bessie Jane White.

White was raised and educated in West Virginia and served in the U.S. Army.

He came to the Libby area in 1969, working as a gypo logger, and at St. Regis Paper Co. and Champion International.

Survivors include his children, Victor White of McMinnville, Ore.; Judy Cutts of Post Falls, Idaho; Barbara Pfaff of Powell Butte, Ore.; Paul White and Boyd White, both of Libby, as well as several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother Shelva White.

Private services will be held. Arrangements are by Nelson and Vial Funeral Home.
