Mother resents coverage of pipe bomb suspect Stephen Young

To the Editor:

I'm writing to you because of the article that was in the paper. It was about Stephen Young who is my son.

I don't think a lot of the things that was written about needed to be in the article. I have two grandchildren and a daughter-in-law who live in Libby. They hurt enough with what happened. Now more people know and can say things to my son's family that will hurt.

My son did wrong and is going to have to live and pay for what he did. I love my son. Anyone can do something wrong. I don't know what your reporter feels - Gwen Albers, I guess it's a job to report things and earn money doing it.

What a family feels doesn't mean much to a person who will write about a person needing help.

I live in Oregon and I hurt and his brothers and sisters feel the hurt. My son needs help not criticism.
