Ronald Dodge

| June 23, 2006 12:00 AM

Ronald Wayland Dodge, 19, of Billings, died due to injuries received in a vehicle accident on June 12, 2006.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1986, in Kalispell. He attended grade school and junior high in Whitefish and graduated in 2005 from Columbia Falls High School.

Ronald had a kind and loving heart and always enjoyed making others laugh. He loved the outdoors, from fishing, swimming, hiking into mountain lakes, tossing the football and Frisbee golf in the spring and summer to hunting and snowboarding in the fall and winter. He was always open for a good game of basketball, chess, cribbage, darts or pool especially when he had the opportunity to play his dad.

He not only enjoyed the physical aspects that life had to offer, but, often contemplated the spiritual responsibilities that make us all complete. Words are not enough to express how deeply he will be missed.

He is survived by his father Ron and family Kim, Alyssa and Keefer Dodge of Thompson Falls; sister Melissa Dodge of Whitefish; grandfather Clarence "Wade" Dodge of Thompson Falls.; uncles Mark, Nathan, and Loren Dodge and families of Libby and Larry Dodge and family of Washington; uncle Fred Dodge and family of Washington; aunt Sharon Finney and family of Idaho; his mother Rose Elliott and husband Roger of Columbia Falls; grandparents Alvin and Theda Coombes of Missoula; uncles Rusty and Johnny Coombes and families of Missoula; uncle Roger Coombes and family of Oklahoma; aunt Brenda Rang and family of Missoula; and aunt Angie Bissell and family of Washington.

Ronald was preceded in death by uncle Robert "Bob" Dodge and grandmother Ruth Dodge.

A graveside memorial will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at Noxon Cemetery.
