Spring Fling brightens day

To the Editor:

Saturday, June 10, was to be the Spring Fling.

Instead of a dark, dismal day, once inside of Achievements, it became a very special day for us. Food prepared by the staff was delicious. What pies, yum, yum!

There was an artist on hand for painting faces with games for all ages.

A lady with a great heart named 'Star' brought her karaoke equipment making it possible for all clients to be the stars everyone had always wanted to be.

The laughter and smiles of those in wheelchairs getting to dance with the loving, caring staff made a sunny day for everybody.

We were so glad to be part of so much fun. Our thanks to all of you.
