Charlotte Larson

Charlotte Cael Larson, 81, died May 30, 2006, after a long illness.

Charlotte was the daughter of Eugene B. Cael and Elsie G. Klinger. She and her twin sister, Rose B. Cael Ledum, were born in Eureka on March 23, 1925.

Charlotte married Delvin "Shorty" Larson in 1947. They were married for 53 years before his death in 2000. After their retirement in 1975 they spent winters in Arizona and summers in Montana.

She is survived by her daughter Gayle Schaefer and grandson, Joel Schaefer, both of Seattle; son Garry Larson of Salem, Ore.; and granddaughter Jackie Larson of New York City.

Cremation will take place and private services will be held at a later date.
