Marian Frament

Marian A. Frament, 87, of Libby died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at the Libby Care Center from natural causes.

She was born May 7, 1919, in Cohoes, N.Y., to Vitale Ellen Lynch Louprette. She grew up and attended school in Cohoes. She attended college at Albany Business College in Albany, N.Y., where she received an associate's degree in business. She married Frank Frament in 1941. She moved to California in 1971 where she worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She had recently moved to Libby.

Her husband Frank preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Frank Frament and his wife, Frances, of Camano Island, Calif., Jerry Frament and his wife, Ellen, of Libby, and Jim Frament of Berry Creek, Calif.; grandchildren, Don Zink of Anaheim, Calif., Shelley Stewart and her husband, Ted, of Antelope, Calif., and Joseph Frament of Libby; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Libby. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. June 5 at the church.

Local arrangements are by Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
