Gary Wells

Gary C. Wells, 61, of Troy, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at his home from natural causes.

He was born Aug. 15, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Bill and Clela Cross.

Gary was raised and educated in San Diego, Calif.

He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, Gary worked as a contractor in Oregon. He also drove semi tractor trailers and operated heavy equipment.

Gary moved to Montana in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, music, football, animals and most of all his family.

Survivors include his wife Tonja Hilburn Wells of Troy; children Jeremy Wells of Troy, Jason Wells of Colorado and Yvette Wells and Odette Hodge of Veneta, Ore.; brother Ray Lee of San Diego; mother Clela Borysiewicz of San Diego; and nine grandchildren.

Private family services will be held. Local arrangements are by Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
