Francze Nordin

Francze Alice Nordin, 89, died in her sleep on June 28, 2006, at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.

Francze was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Union, Mont., to Frank and Charlotte Eaton.

She was raised in Lindsay. After graduating from high school, Francze traveled to Libby where she met her husband, Carl Nordin. They were married on June 19, 1939, in Glendive, and returned to Libby, where they lived for over 40 years.

Later they moved to Savage Lake near Troy, where they had built a home with a lake and mountain view and enjoyed retirement for many years.

After a brief illness, Carl died in Kalispell in 2001. Francze moved to Bullhead City, Ariz., to be near her children. She was a homemaker all her life and was very proud of her family.

She also was preceeded in death by her parents, a brother, Cecil Eaton of Lindsay; a sister, Ora Westrom of Burlington, W.Va.; and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by her three children, Wesley Nordin and his wife, Lura, of Bullhead City, Wendell Nordin and his wife, Sue, of Circle, and Nona Challinor and her husband, Jerry, of Bullhead City; and five grandchildren, Lance, Ward and Brent Nordin, all of Las Vegas, Nev., Tony Nordin of Omaha, Neb., and Andrew Nordin of Monterey, Calif.

A private memorial was held for family at the Wesley Nordin residence in Bullhead City on July 8, 2006.
