Maggie May "Susie" Cosgrove

Maggie May (Susie) Cosgrove, 80, died Friday, June 30, 2006, at the Hewett House care facility in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Susie was born April 27, 1926, in Silverton, Ore., to Jacob Levi and Lula May Lacey Van Arnam. She attended schools in Oregon, Washington and Montana.

Susie spent her life as a homemaker and moved throughout the Northwest with her husbands. On June 29, 1963, she married Alvin Cosgrove in Newport, Ore. After his death she moved to Troy, where she lived out her life in the beautiful surroundings of her Montana.

Throughout her life she loved her pets, especially Sally, her Boston bull terrier. She also enjoyed bingo and crocheting, making many lap blankets for friends and nursing home residents. She was a very giving person to her family and friends and supported a mission child in the Philippines.

Susie is survived by her family in Oregon: Bill and Joan Lydie, Ella and Michael Petricko, Mary Ganoe and Jenifer Ganoe, and the love of her life, Sally, her Boston bull terrier.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin James; Cosgrove and son, Steve Peterson.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 31, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Troy, with inurnment following at Milnor Lake Cemetery.
