Eric Almeida

Eric Z. Almeida, 43, died of a heart attack near his home while working in Belen, N.M., on Jan. 18, 2006.

Eric was born Aug. 14, 1962 in Libby, to Shirline and Ignacio (Nash) Almeida. He grew up and graduated from Libby High School in 1981. Since graduation he lived in various places in California, Fiji and New Mexico. He worked as a dive instructor in Fiji. Everywhere he went, he made new friends. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife Donna Almeida; his daughters Erica and Tonya; his parents Shirline and Nash of Libby; his brother Greg and his wife Amy of California; his sister Sally Cordier and her husband Rick of Arlee; his grandmother Marie Jones in Missoula. He is also survived by various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Paul Jones of Libby.
