Body count not in for asbestos

To the Editor:
This letter is in response to John Erhard's letter in comparing WR Grace to Philip Morris. I just have just a few comments.
1. Philip Morris made token restitution by the tobacco settlement.
2. There have been warning labels on tobacco products for at least 30 years. I don't remember any warning labels on the air and dust in Libby.
3. Smoking or chewing tobacco products is a conscious choice and I don't remember anyone asking me if I wanted to breathe in the asbestos dust that W.R. Grace produced.
4. The total body count for asbestos fatalities is not yet in; don't underestimate the power of those little fibers.
