Pitiful Pirates penant purloined

To the Editor:

At some time during or shortly after our Friday, Feb. 17, performance of "Pitiful Pirates" at the Little Theatre, some dirty low life pond scum suckerof a lubber stole our pirate flag from out in front of the Lttle Theatre.

We be offerin' a reward for the safe return of that there precious symbol of our piratehood. It twill be an ugly site for sure if we find the poor wretched soul before he/she/it comes forth on it's own free will.

Our beloved flag, (Skull and cross bones on a black field) is roughly 3' x 5'.

Much abliged for any aid you be givin' us for its safe and timely return.
