Resch's actions warrant commission

To the Editor:

The actions of Staff Sgt. Resch are reminiscent of a W.E.B. Griffin "Men of War" novel. In addition to the Bronze Star which she earned, her leadership qualities that have been so well acknowledged by the troops under her command should warrant a direct commission to at least first lieutenant.

I would go into battle with Staff Sgt. Resch anytime.
