Evelyn Beverly Lewis

Evelyn Beverly Lewis, 74, of Troy, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at her home at Angel Island from natural causes.

She was born July 22, 1931, in Havre, to Aubrey and Elise Erickson Jones. She graduated from Havre High and Northern Montana College.

She worked in private industry as well as county, state and federal government for 42 years. She retired in 1992.

Her parents and two brothers, Aubrey and Robert, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Harold Lewis; daughter Carla Loepke and husband Bill of California; two sons, Wayne Lewis of Montana and Harold Jr. and wife Neva of Texas; a brother, Don Jones of California; three grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets.

Services will be held at a later date. Local arrangements are by the Nelson and Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
