Louis Berry

Louis T. Berry, 64, of Libby died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital from natural causes.

He was born May 31, 1943, in Vista, Calif., to Norman and Faye Berry and was raised and educated in Escondido, Calif.

In 1967, Louis enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam.

He later worked as a project planner and welder in the submarine division for the U.S. Navy in Vallejo, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; a daughter, Christine Sutterfield of Fresno, Calif.; step-children Adam Noble of Bozeman and Devyn Hill of Whitehall; and siblings Maro Costo and Larry Berry, both of California.

Calling hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Libby Assembly of God Church. Interment with military honors will follow at the City of Libby Cemetery.
