Lebanon should stay on porch if it can't run with the big dogs
To the Editor:
I would also like to offer perspective on the Lebanon war.
First let me start by saying all war is sad and innocent people are dying on both sides in this one. But with that being said, if you stir up a hornet's nest you are going to get stung! That's exactly what happened here when Lebanon started carrying out attacks on Israel by crossing their borders, and attacking and kidnapping Israel's soldiers.
I'm getting sick and tired of watching Lebanon attack Israel, and then when Israel fights back, Lebanon puts on their sad face and pleads to the world that they're getting picked on. Israel has the right to defend themselves just like we do.
I see people making a big deal out of the fact that Lebanon is a small country and not as well equipped as Israel but Israel is also a very small country and Lebanon seems to have an endless supply of missiles they keep raining down on Israel.
So in closing, I would just like to say that my suggestion to Lebanon is this: If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.
