Kathyrn Thatcher

Kathryn "Kat" Ann Thatcher, 47, of Hungry Horse and formerly of Libby, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, from natural causes.

Kathryn was born July 19, 1959, in McMinnville, Ore., to Elva and Ben Lane of Libby.

She attended Libby High School.

Kathryn was a cook at Elkhorn Grill in Hungry Horse.

She love life and lived her life sharing that love. Kathryn touched the lives of many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her parents; a daughter, Shantae Boyd of Libby; a son, Baltimore Carper of Kyla; and a grandson, Kaleb Boyd of Libby. Another grandchild is due. Kathyrn also had a plethora of adopted family in Libby, Kalispell and elsewhere.

A celebration of her life is planned. Information will be posted in The Western News.
