Owner society strikes again with criminal trespass charges

| August 18, 2006 12:00 AM

To the Editor:

The owner society strikes again. The largest grocery store in Libby now bans me and Yvonne from their property. We have been charged with criminal trespass.

This repression was for leaving a little stack of People's Weekly World newspapers outside along with other free publications. We also gave out free newspapers in the store to people that wanted this paper. Apparently, some people complained that we were harassing them. Me and Yvonne apologize to anybody that feels we were harassing them.

So much for our Constitution and the First Amendment for a free press. Why can't these owners let the people decide what they read, think and speak.
