Donna Trainor

Donna L. Trainor, 50, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, following a two-year fight with cancer.

She was born Jan. 23, 1956, in Libby, to Lloyd and Ella Kidder.

Donna's childhood and teenage years were spent with family in the Troy area. She enjoyed exploring on her horses and fishing with her mother.

In 1974, Donna moved to Washington's Tri-Cities area, where she and her daughter made their home.

Donna worked different jobs until she obtained employment on the Hanford site. Due to health problems, she had to quit working. She became a full-time grandmother.

Donna was a single parent until 1989, when she met Bob Trainor. They became husband and wife in 1995. They built their home in Kiona, Wash.

Donna is survived by her husband, daughter Jamie and granddaughters Chelsea, Ashley, Danielle and Kaitlyn, all of the Tri-Cities in Washington; and mother Ella and father Lloyd, sister Debbie, and brothers Buck and Wade and their families, all of the Troy and Deer Park, Wash., areas.

She is also survived by a grandmother, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and in-laws in Washington, Idaho and Montana.

An informal gathering was held on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Donna's church in Paterson, Wash.
