Floretta Hartl

Floretta A. Hartl, 75, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at her home in Libby from natural causes.

She was born Aug. 16, 1930, in St. Paul, Minn., to Robert and Selma Hardy Percy. She grew up and attended school in St. Paul.

She married Harold Rogers in 1947 and moved to Washington, where she lived for 13 years. She returned to St. Paul where she lived until 1976, when she moved to Montana. She married George Hartl in 1976.

She enjoyed taking care of others. Friends and family always surrounded her.

Her brother Wilbur preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband George of Libby; children — Laurie Sundstrom and husband Blaine of Warden, Donald Rogers and wife JoAnne of Puyallup, Wash., Debra Menneth and husband Bill of St. Paul, Minn.; sisters Marcella Norman and husband Bud of Glendive, and Beatrice Pinotti and husband Thomas of St. Paul, Minn.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a companion, Larry Brown.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
