Margaret Stuhlreiter

Former Libby resident Margaret Stuhlreiter, 85, died on July 18, 2005, at Paradise Acres in Dillon.

She was born on July 1, 1920, to Joseph and Magdalena Poesing Stuhlreiter of Libby, attended Libby schools and graduated from Libby High School with the Class of 1939.

Margaret earned a teaching degree from Eastern Montana State College in Billings and enjoyed a career as an elementary teacher in schools throughout western Montana, Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii.

She loved to travel and experience challenges.

She retired to Dillon where she enjoyed her home and flower garden until health problems made it necessary to spend her last years at Paradise Acres.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother George, sisters Mary Kerkes and Elizabeth Grambauer.

She is survived by sisters Anna Griffith of Libby and Ellen Wilson of Terry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family appreciates the special care and friendship of Amy Rand of Dillon.

Brundage Funeral Home was responsible for cremation, and at her request no services were planned.
