Ronald Thomson

Ronald B. Thomson, 50, of Libby, died Sept. 23, 2005, at the Community Medical Center in Missoula.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1955, at Libby, to Don and Beverly Thomson and raised and educated at Libby.

Ronald was employed by St. Regis Paper Company for five years and later worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad.

He served aboard the USS Enterprise with the U.S. Navy.

Folowing an honorable discharge, he returned to Libby.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother Tim.

Survivors include daughter Heidi Thomson, Libby; sister Chris Thomson, also of Libby; brother Don Thomson, Spokane, grandson Shannon Walston, Libby, aunts and uncles, Murial Davin in Oregon, Wutsie Nelson, Eva Thomson and Colin and Connie Thomson, all of Libby and Mike and Sharon Staff in Spokane, and nephews Dennie and Brett.

Private familiy services will be conducted.

Arrangements are under direction of the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
