Farmers' Market showing success on Thursdays

| September 2, 2005 12:00 AM

To the Editor:

Thanks to all the folks who have come out on Thursdays to check out the Kootenai Country Farmers' Market. The market meets in the Libby Bandshell Park each Thursday from 4 to 7. Often we have music at 5:30 thanks to a variety of performers who have enthusiastically donated their time and talents.

The market continually welcomes new vendors, patrons and performers to round out the market. It is easy to sign up to be a vendor, just stop by the Market Master's table for information.

This year our season will end Thursday, Oct. 6, with a special Harvest Festival. I have really enjoyed being a vendor at the market this summer selling my lemon bread and huckleberry pastries. My sincere thanks to everyone for being there and for supporting the market.
