Trevor Seaman

Trevor Jesse Seaman, 28, died on Sept. 28, 2005, at Westchester, Pa., after a brave battle against Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The only son of Edward and Judy Seaman of Columbia Falls, Trevor was born on Jan. 11, 1977.

After graduating from Columbia Falls High School in 1995, Trevor studied engieering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York, graduating with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He worked for Boeing at Huntington Beach, Calif.

He married Karen Braun of West Islip, N.Y., in January 2001. Their first child is due in February 2006.

Trevor's wide variety of interests included hunting, competitive shooting, dirt bike racing, tinkering with cars, skiing and hiking in the mountains. He loved a good debate and was never satisfied with being second best.

Trevor challenged his teachers as well as his friends to explore new ideas, to push the envelope and go beyond what was popularly accepted.

He was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in and fight for what he thought was right. He always argued for the "just cause."

Trevor cherished his relationship with Eric Shepard and loved him like a brother.

Survivors include his wife Karen; parents, Ed and Judy, Columbia Falls; and sister Bonnie Lee. He is also survived by his grandmother Mary Little, grandfather Clete Seaman, uncles Bob, Steve and Jack, aunts Susie, Cindy and Brenda, and cousins Shawn and Kimberly.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.

Friends are welcome to come back to Ed and Judy's house after the service.
