Robert Fuller

Robert Keith Fuller, 74, died on Oct. 1, 2005, at his home in Libby.

He was born in Aurora, Ill., to Harvey and Bertha Fuller, and was raised by an aunt, Lu Barnard, in Kalispell.

Bob served with the U.S. Army from 1947-1952 and drove an ammunition truck during the Korean War.

He drove heavy equipment for W.R. Grace for 28 years and also worked for New Mont Gold at Elko, Nev., for two years before retiring in 1993.

During his last years, Bob provided transportation for dear friends in the Amish Community.

Bob met and married Bonnie Nelson in Troy in 1963. They later moved to Libby where they raised two children together.

Bob's passion was driving, anyone, anywhere. He enjoyed driving stock cars, camping and spending time with family.

He shared the last 42 years of his life with his wife Bonnie, his lapdog Pepper, cat Rowdy and hundreds of close friends.

Survivors include his first wife and friend Vera Fuller of Kalispell, the mother of four of his children; his children Debbie Locke and her husband Lorren, Calgary, Canada; Tom Fuller and his wife Donna, Kalispell; Chuck Fuller and his wife Cathy, Kalispell; Kathy Zinzer and her husband Mike, Butte; Penni Riggles and her husband Bill, Libby, and Josh Fuller, Elko, Nev.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Libby Church of God.

Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Friday.

Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
