Frances Stout

Frances R. Stout, 94, of Libby, died on Sept. 29, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital.

She was born on March 26, 1911, at Burlington, Kan., growing up at Joplin, where she attended school.

Frances graduated from Joplin High School in 1929.

She married Arthur Appler in 1937.

Frances moved to California in 1946 and lived there for the next 44 years before moving to Montana in 1990.

She enjoyed crafts, quilting, playing solitare and reading romance ovels.

Survivors include two children, Robert Eppler of Libby and Shirley Meusch and her husband Daniel of Susanville, Calif., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be conducted.

Local arrangements are under care of the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
