Carole Booth

Carole J. Booth, 73, of Libby, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Hospital from natural causes.

She was born April 2, 1932, at Endicott, N.Y., to Ernie and Nellie Schooley Welch. She grew up in Endicott and Lewiston, Idaho.

She married Charles Booth in 1962 in Reno, Nev. They lived in Noxon from 1962 to 1992 when they moved to Libby.

She enjoyed sewing, and crocheting. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by a son, Lester Booth.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Booth of Libby; three sons, Dave Johnson and wife Sandra of Thompson Falls, Larry Johnson and wife Kathy of Missoula, Steve Johnson of Mobile, Ala.; brother Carl Welch and wife Dorie of Spokane; grandchildren April Bowe and husband Robbe of Libby and Bonnie Booth of Noxon; and daughter-in-law Rosalie Booth of Noxon.

Private family services will be held. Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
