To the Editor:

We want to thank these two communities for their thoughts and prayers after our accident on Feb. 25 near Libby. The individuals that assisted us at the accident site, ambulance service, and emergency room staff at your hospital are very special and kind people. We were treated with the utmost in professional care by all.

We would like to send our thanks to the following individuals for the assistance that was given us: EMT Jay Moody, Shawn Thrasher, Fireman Dave Helmrick, emergency room staff; Mary Nelson, Jen Nelson Roby, Erin Near, Dr. Jane Borish, Highway Patrolman Duane Bowers, Sheriff Jerry Rust, Nurse Peggy Smith, community member John Feldenzer, Montana Gifts staff Jan Scott, Tilla, Wayne, and Donna. In addition to these special people of your communities, a extra special thanks to a nurse known only as Jessica for her special kindness given Roger while awaiting transport to Spokane.

We are aware we may have missed someone that attended to and assisted us, and we apologize to anyone we may have overlooked.

We returned to our home in California on March 25, and started our healing and mending process. We also look forward to our next trip to your wonderful communities.

We also wish to extend our deepest condolences to the city of Troy, its students, school faculty, friends and family of Eric Groff.
