Theodora Swenter

Theodora M. Swenter, 97, of Libby, died on Sunday, March 20, 2005, at her home.

She was born on March 29, 1907, in Chilliwack, British Columbia, to Fred and Sarah Toop Potts.

When she was about 20 years old she moved to California, where she lived most of her life.

She married Charles Swenter at Urbana, Ill., in 1945.

Theodora worked as a dental assistant for more than 25 years.

Charles preceded her in death in 1976 and soon after his death she moved with her son to Washington state.

She moved to Libby in September 2004.

Survivors include her son Craig Swenter and his wife Mary, Libby; granddaughters Charlene Swenter, Mountain View, Calif., and Connie Womack and her husband Jim, Suffolk, Va., and great-grandchildren Jacob and Andrew Womack, Mountain View.

Private family services are being held.

Arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
