Pearle Moore

Former Troy postal clerk Pearl Lucille Moore, 87, of Cottage Grove, Ore., died on March 17, 2005.

She was born on Feb. 28, 1918, at Flaxville to Joseph Alfred Goulet and Nellie French Parent, and attended Flaxville schools.

Pearl and Cliff Tiegen were married at Scobey on Feb. 19, 1939.

Cliff died on Nov. 25, 1983, and on May 30, 1987, Pearl married Herbert Moore at Troy.

Pearl helped run a dairy farm in Scobey and a hotel in Troy, where she also worked as a postal clerk.

She enjoyed dancing, travel, card games and arts and crafts.

Pearl moved from Troy to Cottage Grove in 1999.

Survivors include daughters Judith Kay Dolan, Cottage Grove; Patricia Marie Lyons, Green River, Wyo.; Linda Lee Taylor, Troy; and Mary Elizabeth Watson, Manson, Wash.; son Michael Clifford Tiegen, Roseburg, Ore.; sisters Doris Johnson, Kalispell and Gerri Lindsey, Littleton, Colo., 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at Troy during the summer with inurnment at Milnor Lake Cemetery.

Arrangements are under care of the Smith-Lund-Mills funeral home at Cottage Grove.
