Arlene Rogofski

Arlene Rogofski, 72, died on Feb. 22, 2005, at her home in Troy.

She was born at Hazelton, N.D., to Howard and Caroline Smith.

Arlene first moved to the Troy area with her family in 1968, later living at Hixton, British Columbia, Canada from 1970-1998.

She also lived at Creston, B.C., before returning to Troy in 2004.

Arlene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints.

Survivors include her husband Nori Rogofski of Prince George, B.C., her children, Kathy Beito and her husband Duane in Oklahoma, Ronald Herriton in North Dakota, Bobby Alyea in Washington state, Sherry Pennock and her husband Randy and Kevin Alyea, all of Troy; brother Eugene Smith and his wife Dolly and sisters Cereen Blaich and her husband Willard and Janus Schaewe and her husband Jim, 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents.

Services under direction of Nelson & Vial Funeral Home were conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Troy Cemetery.
