Mail those junk letters back to the senders

To the Editor:
Now with the rising fuel costs, come the murmurings of a postal rate increase.
We that receive mail, pay for those who send and send and send mail. I believe I have an answer. When receiving this burden of unwanted mail, first, I check for a postage paid envelope. Got one! Then I take the entire letter, envelope, coupons, and maybe a penny out of my tray and send it all back!
The senders pay by weight for their postage paid permit. So, don't throw out that junk mail. Send it back. Think of the American jobs you'll help create. And maybe no rate increase!
