Sean Branch

Sean William Branch, 20, of Libby, drowned in the Kootenai River on May 25, 2005.

He was born on Dec. 6, 1984, at Glendale, Calif., to Norman and Kit Prather Branch.

Sean grew up and attended schools in Frazer Park, Calif., spending summers in Libby with his grandparents.

He graduated from Bakersfield High School in 2002.

Sean enjoyed computers, snow boarding, cars, hunting, fishing and flying.

He had been a member of the Explorer for the LA Fire Department and had also participated in the Air Force ROTC program throughout high school.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Nell Prather.

Survivors incude his parents Norm and Kit Branch, Libby; sister Erin Branch, Missoula, grandmother Eunice Bergman, Sun Valley, Calif., and best friends Matt and George.

Private family services will be conducted. Local arrangements are by Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
