Beth White

Beth White, 74, died on June 17, 2005, at her home in Libby.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1930, at Walla Walla, Wash., to Ray and Myra Glasford, and was raised and educated in eastern Washington.

A longtime resident of Colville until moving to Libby six years ago, Beth was an artist, working in both oil and watercolor on a variety of subjects. She was an active member of the Colville Fine Arts Guild.

Beth was also a gifted pianist and enjoyed gardening. She was known especially for her beautiful iris plantings. She had a tremendous sense of hmor and was an avid reader with a great love for animals.

Survivors include her husband Doug, Libby; her children Joyce Giles, Libby, Brenda Beaulieu, Spokane and son Don White in Alaska; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.

Private arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
