Patricia Currie

Patricia Ann Currie, 63, of Libby, died on Monday, June 13, 2005, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, after a brief illness.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1941, at Philadelphia, Pa., to Marion and Russel Knocik.

Pat studied to become a registered nurse and continued her education at Villanova University, where she received a bachelor of science degree. She married James Currie in November 1963 and they moved to the Libby area in 2002 to enjoy retirement.

Survivors include her husband James, their children Cathleen Gephart and her husband Dale of Coeur d'Alene, Karen Currie of Glen Mills, Pa., Amy Hughes and her husband Robert, Libby, and Michael Currie and his wife Aiyana, Groton, Mass., and grandchildren Avery and Zoe Gephart and Mallory and Robert Hughes Jr.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
