Glenda May Allen

Glenda May Allen, 60, died on June 8, 2005, at her home in Libby.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1944, at Ritzville, Wash., to Glen and Elsie Fisher Williams.

After moving to Libby in 1952, Glenda attended Libby schools, graduating from Libby High School in 1963.

She spent a year in Spokane and married Arthur Allen on Nov. 19, 1966, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

They have since lived in Libby, where Glenda worked as a secretary for the Eagles for five years.

She enjoyed ham radio and taught classes on its use.

Glenda also enjoyed computers, a good challenge and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Arthur Allen of Libby; daughter LaJada Allen, Libby, sister Dorothy Burg, Libby, brother Larry Williams, Troy, and five grandchildren, Jessica, Tabitha, Harley, Sadie and Erik.

Services will be conducted at a later date.

Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
