Margaret Stuhlreiter

Retired elementary teacher and former Libby resident Margaret Stuhlreiter, 85, of Dillon, died at Parkview Acres on July 18, 2005.

She was born on July 1, 1920, to Joseph and Magdalena Poesing Stuhlreiter of Libby.

Margaret attended Libby schools and graduated from Libby High School with the Class of 1939, and from Eastern Montana State Normal College in Billings.

She enjoyed a long career as an elementary teacher in schools throughout western Montana, Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii.

Margaret loved to travel and experience challenges. She retired to Dillon where she enjoyed her home and flower garden until health problems made it necessary to spend her last years at Parkview Acres.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother George, and sisters Mary Kerkes and Elizabeth Grambauer.

Survivors include sisters Anna Griffith of Libby and Ellen Wilson of Terry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed the special care and friendship of Amy Rand of Dillon.
