Muslim terrorists can't be classified in human category

To the Editor:

This war in Iraq is about preserving our lives and Christian values, not negotiating them away.

The Muslim terrorists that we are fighting around the globe, want one thing, and that is to kill every American (or westerner) they come across. That is their sole purpose in life. The Muslim terrorists do not want to negotiate, they don't just want us out of their country, they want us dead! We are infidels in their minds, and must be destroyed. They will never give up, and neither should we.

Every American needs to stick together and fight these animals, because if we don't, what we saw in London yesterday, 9-11, and the thousands of other attacks world-wide will come to our back doors as frequently as they occur overseas.

These animals cannot be classified in the human category. They must be stopped at all costs, or we will surely perish as will our way of life. What kind of human can stick a knife into the throat of another living, breathing human, and literally saw off their head while they scream for mercy? That is not a human being — that is an animal.

What kind of animal can go home to their family after sawing off the head of a person and ask "what's for dinner?" That kind of animal is a soulless animal that has no regard for human life. There is no rehabilitating this animal, and there is no negotiating with it.

I have been to three wars (Desert Shield/Storm, OEF, and OIF) fighting these animals and have since retired from the U.S. Army, and I would fight them again, should my nation need me to.

I grew up in Troy and left to join the Army. Montana is my home away from home and it is where I will retire soon to raise my children.

We as Americans need to be united in this fight, because if we aren't, this fight will surely come to our shores, and we will be forced to literally defend our lives and nation whether you like it or not. Try negotiating then, but it will be too late. There is only one way to negotiate with these animals, and that is at the end of the gun.
