Hazel Johnson

Hazel P. Johnson, 86, a Libby resident for the past four years, died on Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at the Libby Care Center.

She was born on June 7, 1918 at Rose, Okla., to John Phillips and Ella Johnston Phillips.

She and her husband Dixie Wayne Johnson lived in Phoenix for many years.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband in 1985 and she moved to Libby in 2000.

Survivors include her children, Kay Legere and her husband Cliff, Libby, Lee Johnson and his wife Claudia, Burlingame, Calif.; and grandsons Michael and Robert Johnson.

Services and interment will be conducted at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
