Old-fashioned Western justice needed with Grace

| February 24, 2005 11:00 PM

To the Editor:

I am a barely breathing but talking murder victim.

My name will someday be joined with the other 200+ tremolite asbestos victims that we remember at the Libby Cemetery each Memorial Day.

The reason for my letter is I feel that the U.S. Attorney's suit against W. R. Grace and their yes men is another disregard for the life and memory of the murder victims here in Libby.

How can you cover up the toxicity of tremolite asbestos and watch people die without being charged with murder? At least manslaughter! This outright disregard by W.R. Grace, the EPA, the State of Montana, Lincoln County and the City of Libby has led to more suffering than should have been allowed.

Let's have some old fashioned western justice on this matter!
