Robert Hampton

Robert E. (Tumbleweed) Hampton, 59, died on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at St. John¹s Lutheran Hospital.

He was born on April 5, 1945 at Fargo, N.D., and was adopted by Elbert W. and Ann Adaline Inks Hampton of Spokane when he was less than a year old.

He grew up in the Rohnerville, Calif., area and later moved to Montana, where he worked on a ranch.

His passion was horses.

Robert attended the Libby Assembly of God where he enjoyed praising the Lord.

A favorite pastime was spending time out of doors.

Survivors include his wife Frances, Libby; his mother Ann Hampton, Spokane; sons Shawn Hampton and his wife Charity, Randal, Wash., and Ryan Hampton and his wife Marie, also of Randal, and three grandchildren.

Private family services are being held.
