Cliff Kinzey

Clifford R. Kinzey , 56, longtime Libby area contractor, died Dec. 14, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.

Born in Southern California, where he attended schools in the L.A. area, Clifford moved to the Libby area in the early 1970s and started Kinzey Construction. He constructed many houses in the area of the golf course, built the old Prompt Care building and the former Assisted Living Center. He constructed numerous other residential structures in the Libby area.

On June 18, 1988, Clifford married KarenAnn Knoblach in Libby. They had one son.

Clifford was known as a friend to many but he was a very private man.

He is survived by his wife KarenAnn of Libby; their son Austin James of Libby and his son Joshua of North Carolina, from a previous marriage.

The family extended a special thanks to Dr. Jay Maloney and Grant Crawford for their care and support at St. John's Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at Pine Cemetery in Spokane.
