Local economy must be first

To the Editor:
In response to the U.S. Forest Service's request for comment on the Smoked Fish Project, I am opposed to all of the listed changes. This area of northwest Montana has lost nearly all of the natural resource jobs available. Yet, we are continually told the future economic stability is in the area of recreation. This stimulation will not occur if there is further discrimination towards snowmobile and 4-wheeler riders on our National Forest roads.
The effects on local economies must be in the forefront of any adjustment to open lands access. Mark me down as opposed to the listed changes.
