Libby football team wins opener

Yes, football arrives on Saturday

It's hard to believe that fall sports is here. The Loggers held their traditional "Watermelon Bowl" on Friday evening – an intrasquad scrimmage. I missed the first part of the scrimmage for personal reasons but caught the tail end in time to shoot a few photos. I'm going to interview the head coach on Monday for a season preview piece that will run in Friday's paper.

LHS boys soccer looks good

The Loggers look like they could have a pretty strong team this season. Eight returning starters – seven of those seniors. I'm working on a team preview for our next edition.
