Public safety

A caller reported a possible S.O.S. signal sent out by the driver of a pickup truck on Jennings Haul Road. The truck’s headlights flashed three times in sequences of three.

Public assistance

A parent reported that their 12-year-old daughter was out with friends. The daughter returned home shortly thereafter.

2:01 a.m.

Traffic stop

Authorities arrested Sara Webley for allegedly driving under the influence on U.S. Highway 2 in Libby.

12:19 p.m.

Animal complaint

A Three Corners Road resident reported that dogs were running around the area and fighting.

Disturbance

Authorities responded to West Road after a woman reported that she was unable to get into her home to retrieve her belongings.

Public assistance

An individual reported not having heard from a friend somewhere north of Eureka since a fight the two had about a month ago.

An Airport Road resident told authorities that her neighbor’s dogs barked roughly 10 hours the previous night. The neighbor has since been tampering with her fence and recording her through her window.

A Beachward Trail resident said a man was in his home and refused to leave.

Public safety

Authorities assisted a woman in finding a ride home after receiving reports of her hitchhiking on Kootenai River Road and acting strangely in the deli aisle of a local supermarket.

Public assistance

Authorities responded to Bull Lake Road after receiving a report of a man standing at the end of a driveway and yelling.

11:47 p.m.

Suspicious activity

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies patrolled Spencer Hill Avenue after receiving a report of people entering and exiting a home there.

8:26 a.m.

Fire

Area firefighters responded to Shaughnessy Road after a report of a chimney fire. First responders used an extinguisher and a chimney chain to squelch the fire.

Animal complaint

A Riverside Avenue resident reported that in September several unidentified individuals picked up her dog.

Traffic stop

Authorities stopped a truck after receiving a report that it ran a stop sign before heading onto Education Way. Libby police officers cited the driver.
