Suspicious activity

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a report of a possible squatter in Pioneer Park. A caller told authorities the individual had set up a tarp behind the clubhouse. The individual agreed to pack up and move along after speaking with deputies.

Public Assistance

A Spencer Road resident reported getting locked out of their house by their young children. Authorities gave the individual the telephone number for a locksmith.

7:48 p.m.

Suspicious activity

An individual asked to speak with a law enforcement official regarding possible drug activity on Vicks Drive.

Sex crime

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated allegations of an assault on a child at an undisclosed location.

12:52 a.m.

Warrant

Authorities arrested Jesse Rebo on an outstanding warrant after responding to a report of a man who had barricaded himself in the bathroom of a Troy gas station with a gun.

Scam

A California Avenue resident reported receiving a scam phone call.

A caller reported receiving a phone call from an individual requesting money and claiming to be from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Public safety

Montana Highway Patrol was dispatched to mile marker 25 of U.S. Highway 2 for a report of a yellow sports car traveling at high speeds and passing other vehicles irresponsibly. The individual reporting the incident told authorities the sports car had nearly driven into oncoming traffic. Responding officers found the vehicle and determined it was obeying the speed limit.

Criminal Trespass

A Silver Drive property owner reported several individuals had decided to move onto her land without authorization or payment. The situation was resolved before authorities could intervene.

Drugs, drug paraphernalia

Libby police officers met with a woman who claimed to have overhead a conversation at a local gas station the night prior regarding drugs.

Authorities received a report of a downed tree near East 5th Street and the railroad tracks.

A caller reported losing his wallet near the Libby Airport.

A Vicks Lane resident asked for assistance after an individual failed to vacate the caller’s property by a prearranged time.
