Raymond Bell

| May 10, 2019 4:00 AM

Raymond “Jayson” Bell, 43, was born Dec. 15, 1975, and went to run his hounds in heaven the morning of May 4, 2019.

He was born to Pattye and Allen Judd. He was an only child but had four amazing cousins that all acted like brothers and sisters to him, aunts and uncles who were like parents to him, along with many cousins in Colorado. His parents brought him up to be a respectable, caring and loving man.

In February 1996 he was blessed with a son, Devin. Four years later he met his soulmate and married Jacqie on June 19, 2004, In March of 2005 he was given the scare of his life with the birth of his daughter, Jerricqa. In October of 2008 his last angel was born, Gabriel.

Over the course of his life he worked many jobs, from concrete at Sandon Construction, running equipment for many companies, bartending at his parents’ bar, the Kickin Horse Saloon, and even waiting tables at Finnegan’s growing up. He, overall, was a jack-of-all-trades.

In 2015, Jayson became a proud grandfather to Cooper and Cami. In 2016, along came Jaycie. In 2018 came Damon.

His loves of life were family first, but he loved running his hounds with his friends. A cold glass of beer and a pinch of Copenhagen made him happy too.

He was always there to lend a helping hand to either friends, family or strangers.

There to meet him in heaven are his nanny Gwen and poppa John, grammy Dee Pourroy and Phil Judd; and many of his hound friends, Will Collins, Royce Page and his ol’ fishing buddy Red Kline.

He was loved by all and will be missed greatly.

Can you hear the hounds at your tree? You’re home now.

A celebration of life will be held at noon Saturday, May 18, at the Kickin Horse. Bring a dish and stories for us; and, in lieu of floral arrangements, potted flowers for his garden.
