Notice of Public Hearing Recommended Zoning Changes Monday July 8th, 2019, 6:00 PM Council Chambers-City Hall The City of Libby Planning Board and the Libby City Council will hold a joint public hearing on Monday July 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Council Chambers - City Hall. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning the recommended zoning changes to the City of Libby's zoning district entitled Main Business District. At the public hearing the Planning Board will present its proposed changes which includes the creation of two new commercial districts, the Downtown Business District and Highway Commercial District; and changes to the text and map, including increasing the Business-Residential District area. A history of the process, the basis for the changes and a summary of the changes will be included in the presentation. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed changes. Copies of the proposed changes to the text and map are available at City Hall (952 E. NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE KOOTENAI NATIONAL FOREST. The BORDER RAID TIMBER SALE includes an estimated 110,368 TONS of Douglas-fir & Other Saw timber (equivalent to 36,979 CCF) designated for removal located within Portions of Sections 1 and 2, T31N, R35W; Portions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 18 and 31, T32N, R34W; Portions of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, 25, 35 and 36, T32N, R35W; Portions of Sections 29, 32 and 34, T33N, R34W, Lincoln County, State of Montana, PMM; Portions of Section 22, T60N R03E; Portions of Sections 27, 28, 33 and 34, T61N, R03E, Boundary County, State of Idaho, BM. In addition, there is within the sale area an estimated volume of 31,388 tons (equivalent to 10,938 CCF) of Combined Softwood Non-saw timber that is advertised at a fixed rate. This is a WEIGHT MEASUREMENT sale and all rates will be bid and paid for at a rate per TON. Sealed bids will be opened in public at the Supervisor's Office, Libby, MT at 10:00 A.M., local time, on July 30, 2019, followed immediatedly by ORAL AUCTION. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. The prospectus includes minimum acceptable stumpage and the rate of required additional deposits. The required bid guarantee is $149,100.00.
