AUDIT PUBLICATION STATEMENT An audit of Lincoln County has been conducted by Denning, Downey & Associaties, CPA's, P.C. The audit covered the fiscal year ended June 30, 2018. Section 2-7-521, MCA, requires the publication of the following summary of significant findings. Summary of Significant Findings The audit report for Lincoln County for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2018, is unmodified. The audit report also contained several other Auditor's reports. Following is a list of the reports and a summary of the findings included in each. This is only a summary and is not intended to be used as an audit report. 1. Independent Auditor's Report on Internal Control over Financial Reporting and on Compliance and Other Matters based on an audit of Financial Statements contained findings in the following matters. a. 2018-001 Lake of Internal Controls Over Inmate Accounts. 2. Independent Auditor's Report on Compliance for Each Major Program and on Internal Control over Compliance required by the Uniform Guidance. There were no findings 3. NOTICE OF MOBIL HOME AND REAL PROPERTY TAXES DUE All 2019 mobile home taxes in Lincoln County have been mailed. Please check your bills over carefully. When making payments please remit your stubs; for inquiries please provide your tax payer number(s) from your statement(s). If you have not received your bill(s) please contact the Lincoln County Treasurer's office immediately at 406-283-2402. The first half of the 2019 mobile home taxes is due by 5:00 p.m. on or before May 31, 2019. Unless the first half is paid by this date, the amount payable is delinquent and draws interest at the rate of 5/6 of 1% a month from and after the delinquency until paid and 2% must be added to the delinquent taxes as a penalty (MCA 15-24-202). The second half of all Lincoln County real estate taxes is due by 5:00 p.m. on or before May 31, 2019. Unless the second half is paid by this date, the amount payable is delinquent and draws interest at the rate of 5/6 of 1% a month from and after the delinquency until paid and 2% must be added to the delinquent taxes as a penalty.
